24x8 Docsis 3
price: $115.04 + HST = $130
The Hitron CDA3 is a 24 channel Docsis 3 cable modem (24x8). Currently the standard for faster cable packages in Rogers territory, like Cable 100 and Cable 250. It is a Puma 6 modem, so issues around latency in games should be considered, ask for more details. These are brand new in box, but I might sometimes have used units as well. Guaranteed for 1 year.
8x4 Docsis 3
The Motorola SB6141 is an 8 channel Docsis 3 cable modem (8x4) with a great record for reliability. All units are upgraded to the currently required firmware 220.127.116.11, so they are officially supported in Rogers territory. These units are used, but in great condition. Guaranteed for 1 year.
Yes, the picture is actually a SB6121, but they look the same!
The Thomson Technicolor DCM476 is an 8 channel Docsis 3 cable modem (8x4) with a great record for reliability. All units are upgraded to the currently required firmware AC.02.50, so they are officially supported in Rogers and Cogeco areas. These happen to be brand new in box units, but I may sometimes have used units (or used DCM475) available as well. Guaranteed for 1 year.
The DCM425 is the standard Docsis 2 cable modem still useful for Basic 10mbit/s service in Cogeco territories. My units are used, repaired personally by me, and guaranteed for 1 year. Firmware ST52.05.90 as required in Cogeco areas, but other firmware is available.
