Cable Modems

I have a wide selection of cable modems that will work perfectly with any third party cable internet provider in Ontario. That includes Acanac, Start, Teksavvy, and many others.

Yes, the picture is actually a SB6121, but they look the same!

Technicolor DCM476
price: $40
The Thomson Technicolor DCM476 is an 8 channel Docsis 3 cable modem (8x4) with a great record for reliability. All units are upgraded to the currently required firmware AC.02.50, so they are officially supported in Rogers and Cogeco areas. These are loose modems, but I do have a couple in original box for $10 more. Guaranteed for 1 year.

Docsis 2

RCA/Thomson DCM425

The DCM425 is an older Docsis 2 single channel modem (1x1). Still useful for 15mbit/s service in Cogeco territory and 10mbit/s service in Videotron territory. My units are used, repaired personally by me, and guaranteed for 1 year. Firmware ST52.05.90 as required in Cogeco areas, or other firmware versions on request.
